New Season, New Wine!
Wine lovers, we are so excited to announce the release of a brand new wine: Our Malbec Rosé! Bright and elegant, this wine will leave your tastebuds tingling and your mouth begging for more. We are finally on board the #roseallday train!
The 2018 vintage allowed us to produce Malbec grapes that showed great acid and lovely fruitiness suited for rosé. The grapes stayed as whole berries for 72 hours before being pressed off the skins, allowing for a beautiful pink color. This is a soft, flirtatious wine with beautiful red fruit and floral notes. Harvested last April, our wine is fresh, vibrant, and ready to be consumed today!
Not only is rosé a great happy hour wine, we call rosé our “cooking wine,” meaning we love to drink it while we cook our meal! Comfort food anyone? Our rosé is a versatile pairing and goes great with everything from roast chicken to empanadas to burritos. We hope you enjoy it! Ask for the rosé at your local wine shop. We were thrilled to pour our wines at the Yelp Twin Cities Restaurant Party at DelSur Empanadas! There was so much malbec and empanada love in that room. If you haven't had a chance to check out DelSur Empanadas in Minnetonka yet, get over there quick before this neighborhood joint becomes a destination spot! Bonus: our new rosé just landed on the wine list and it is an empanada match made in heaven.
Meet the Famiglia:
Primo Meschini
Named after his grandfather and the eldest of the Meschini brothers, Primo lives up to the legend of his name. Known for his hilarious tales, he is of course a fan of Malbec: In fact, he is the Famiglia Meschini wine consultant! In addition to his eonology skills, Primo holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and manages our vineyards, ensuring we get the best fruit made into the best wine. Primo is also a great asador: The whole famiglia makes sure they come hungry (and thirsty) to his house. Thank you Primo for being such an important part of the famiglia!
