It all started when Primo Meschini left San Severino, Italy as an orphan for a better life in Argentina. He was drawn to the mountains of Mendoza where he produced wine under the Meschini name along with his son, Pacifico until the 1980s.
In 1989 Eugenio Meschini, son of Pacifico, moves to St. Paul, Minnesota to learn English and continues his education at the College of St Thomas.
Well, when your best friend and former rugby buddy is one of the best vineyard managers in Argentina and asks you to co-own a vineyard with him — you don’t think twice.
Eugenio, along with Andrés Forcade, developed their first vineyard in Agrelo, Mendoza.
Muy. After their dear father, Pacifico passed away brothers Primo, Giovanni and Eugenio developed Famiglia Meschini’s second vineyard in San Carlos, Mendoza.
Eugenio continues to live in Minneapolis, producing amazing wines in Argentina, and finds time for friends and family and enjoy the real moments of life.
